Blast from the Past
Mar 16th, 2008 by Tana
Looking through old photos on my computer this evening, I came across this:
That’s Ben, not Joey.
When I had my film Canon Rebel, I got a CD of the photos every time I developed my film. This is one of those pictures. Thus I have no idea when it was taken other than a guess based on what I see in the picture.
I would say it was fall of 2004, which makes Ben about the same age Joey is now. He’s wearing warm clothes, and we have a quilt on the high chair (which still does double duty as our end table for the couch). I do not remember the clothes I am wearing.
But I remember the yarn. LTK After the Rain colorway. My favorite. That tells me it was a few months after I started knitting.
The funny thing about this picture? When I look at it, it reminds me of the 80’s. My hair is much longer there than it is now, and you know how longer hair was big in the early 80’s. So it really feels like a blast from the past.
I think Ben was having fun bringing me all his toys and putting them in my lap while I knit. Oh, memories!
Your boys look so much alike!
I love going through old photos 🙂
Awww…how cute…I can’t wait until I have one…or two, or three.
Oh, very cute! I used to have my pictures put on CD, too. Those were expensive days!
