PIF (pay it forward)
Jan 22nd, 2008 by Tana
Okay, I’m being silly today. Participating in one of those blog things that spreads like a virus. But seriously…
I got it from Alissa over at Life’s Little Adventures. Here’s how it goes:
If you’d like to take part, be one of the first three to comment mentioning that you’re signing up for the PIF exchange. You’ll have to agree to this pledge:
I, [insert your name here] will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange, and who make the same pledge on their own blogs.
[We’ll see if anyone other than Alissa – who is always so kind as to leave a comment – actually reads my blog. I really do have little projects planned…just in case.]
Cheers!
Hi Tana, just thought I would let you know over here what book series I was reading.
It is a series by David and Leigh Eddings, and it is in the Fantasy genre (wizards, knights, massive good vs evil battle). It is very pg-13, with engaging characters and witty dialogue. It’s like picking up an old friend to read. The series I read are the Belgariad and Mallorean series, which is one very, very long story, along with the companion books, Belgarath and Polgara. My sister, who never picked up this type of genre before, also loved this series and read the whole thing, too.

BTW – Have fun with the craft exchange! 🙂
You sound like you don’t think you’ll get three players 🙂 I bet you do, but if you don’t you can feel free to send one of your projects to me 😉
Well, I thought long and hard before I decided to participate. I just wasn’t sure what I’d make. Once I figured that out, the rest doesn’t really matter, though it will be interesting to see if I have any readers who are craft AND are up to such a challenge. I think the latter is the key.
You know, I also figure that people who don’t have blogs can play, as long as they agree to do something crafty for 3 people somewhere…
